Time is flying by and there are now only 27 days until we meet again in Vienna for the 2026 Annual General Meeting. The event will take place in-person at the Chamber of Commerce and of course, in a hybrid format. Secure your place now using the enclosed declaration of participation and find out everything you need to know about the political regulation of chromium trioxide and PFAS first-hand. We have once again invited numerous guest speakers to present the topic from various perspectives.

The block of rooms at The Cloud One Hotel, Vienna, is available until Monday 14 September 2026. If you are staying overnight, we would be delighted if you could join us free of charge for the networking evening on Monday 28 September at the Schweizer Haus in the Prater. Please simply register for this as well using the enclosed form.

The main topics will be the regulatory restrictions concerning chromium trioxide and PFAS. In addition to practical questions and limit values, we would particularly like to examine these issues from a variety of perspectives. To this end, we have invited several guest speakers from different areas of the REACH community.

The highlight will be a panel discussion addressing the question:

What kind of economy do we want to have in the EU in the future?

Due to the availability of our guest speakers, the technical presentations and panel discussion will take place in the afternoon. Association activities, including this year’s elections of the Executive Board and Advisory Board, will take place in the morning. Given the occasion, we have also invited the members of AOT to join us as guests for the afternoon sessions.

To help us plan the event, please let us know by September 8th 2026 whether you will be attending and, if so, whether you will participate in person or online. If you are unable to attend, you will also find a proxy authorization form included with this invitation.

Please note: For organizational reasons, late registration on the day of the event will only be possible until 8:30 a.m.

If you wish to submit any changes to the agenda, please notify the Executive Board at least five working days in advance. Please note that any Annual General Meeting duly convened in accordance with the applicable formal requirements and deadlines shall constitute a quorum regardless of the number of members present.
