Reminder: More data means more information – Updating the HAPOC database on risk

Dear companies,

We have already received some measurement reports in response to our initial request. Thank you very much.

However, as ‘more data’ really does mean ‘more information’ in this case, we would like to remind you once again today to provide us with your latest measurement data on exposure, emissions and waste water so that we can update the HAPOC database.

We are currently engaged in intensive discussions with the authorities and committees regarding future thresholds for exposure and emissions. Furthermore, we are representing the industry’s interests as part of a study on the BOELV, the Europe-wide occupational exposure limit for Cr(VI), which is currently being set by the European Commission (DG Employment).

A robust and up-to-date Vecco database is crucial for achieving our goals. The more comprehensive the data set, the more effectively we can represent the interests of the surface treatment industry to the European institutions. At the same time, the HAPOC database also offers you valuable support in your interactions with national regulatory authorities.

Please send your current exposure and emission measurement data to:

daten-ermittlung(at)vecco.de

Thank you very much for your support and your important contribution to the strong representation of the interests of the European surface treatment industry.
