Dear business partners of Eupoc GmbH and Hapoc GmbH & Co KG,

The year is slowly coming to an end. After an intense and challenging period, things are starting to calm down a bit.

For our association and its affiliated companies, 2025 has been a busy year. With the publication of the first draft on the restriction of chromium trioxide in April and the now completed public consultation, we have reached an important point in the regulatory process. As an accredited stakeholder and speaker, we were present at numerous events and international conferences, where we actively represented the interests of the electroplating industry. Although the final outcome remains uncertain, there are signs for the first time that greater certainty in planning will be possible again.

The year 2026 will be decisive. It will be important to convince political decision-makers of the concerns of our industry, find allies, forge alliances, convince sceptics and respond to criticisms from EU member states in a fact-based manner. These tasks are at the top of our agenda.

For all this, we need your support and your voice. Only together can we continue this important work. We thank you very much for this.

Now it is time to take a break. We wish you, your families and your employees a merry Christmas and health, confidence and success for the year 2026.
