On Wednesday, 16 April 2025, the ECHA newsletter reported that the draft restriction on chromium trioxide had been submitted to the EU Commission on 11 April. We have since learned that the draft restriction will be published on the ECHA website on 30 April. As soon as this happens, we will inform you promptly about all relevant aspects, such as occupational exposure limits, areas of application and exemptions.
We would like to ask you to make a note of June 2025 in your diaries. This is when the public consultation will start, and it is extremely important that as many Vecco companies as possible make their voices heard.
