I took my first steps in the 70s in my grandfather's electroplating shop. Chrome has stayed with me ever since. After graduating, however, I initially embarked on a career in marketing. As a creative director, I serviced many brands.
After 10 years in advertising, I then joined the family business. Since then, hard chromium once again became the focal point of my life.
I have been working as the First Chairman of the Vecco brand since 2016.

Christian Herzog
second Chairperson
Following two apprenticeships as a materials tester and materials technician, I qualified first as a skilled and then as a master electroplater and metal grinder at the Berndorf plant.
After 11 years of training and research work at Berndorf Band, I joined Lahner KG in 1998,
where I am still working today as plant manager.
Other tasks:
- Second chairman and Head of the Working Group on Surface Technology in Austria (AOT)
- Master craftsman and skilled worker examiner for surface technology
- I have been the Second Chairman of VECCO e.V. since October 2020.

Marita Voss-Hageleit
Treasurer
After a commercial education through business school, bank apprenticeship, accountant examination and 10 years of work in the finance department of a large printing company in Düsseldorf, I joined my parents' metal processing company in 1978.From 1981 to 2013, I managed the company as managing director as a galvanotechnical contracting company.
As a founding member of VECCO e.V., I have been treasurer since 2012.
